Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on measures to develop hematology and transfusiology services in the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as further support for people suffering from hematological and intractable diseases
As part of the Concept for the development of the healthcare system of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2019-2025, a number of measures are being carried out to provide the population with affordable and high-quality primary health care, emergency medical and specialized care.
At the same time, providing medical care to people suffering from hematological, oncohematological and other intractable diseases, strengthening the prevention of these diseases and preventing factors contributing to them, remains one of the urgent tasks of public health protection today.
In order to raise the provision of hematological care to a new stage, further develop the system of prevention and early detection of diseases, introduce advanced diagnostic methods and development of transplantation technologies in the treatment of hematological diseases, strengthen the material and technical base and human resources of hematology and transfusiology services, as well as organize additional financial support for the treatment of persons suffering from hematological diseases. The contribution of the private sector to the development of this industry should be noted.
