Trima Accel® — automated apheresis system

Short description

Trim Accel® is an automated system for harvesting blood components by apheresis, designed for efficient and reproducible collection of platelets, plasma and red blood cells from donors. The device ensures high performance of donor procedures while meeting the requirements of safety, quality and comfort of the donor.

The system is widely used in blood centers and transfusion services focused on optimizing donor resources and maintaining the quality of blood components.

Scope of application

·        National and regional blood centers

·        Transfusiology Services

·        Large multidisciplinary medical institutions

·        Institutions with a high volume of donor fraudulent procedures

Appointment and procedures performed

Trim Accel is designed to perform the following donor procedures:

· platelet replacement, including collection of double and triple doses;

· plasmapheresis;

· erythrocytopheresis;

· combined procedures for simultaneous collection of several components in one donation.

Key advantages

·        High productivity in harvesting platelets and other blood components

·        Stable and reproducible end product quality

·        Effective use of donor potential

·        Increased donor comfort due to optimized procedure algorithms

·        Reducing the operational burden on the medical staff

Automated separation of components

·        Continuous centrifugation with precise control of the separation of blood components.

·        Automatic adaptation of the procedure parameters to the individual characteristics of the donor.

·        High efficiency of extraction of target components with minimal losses.

Optimization of the donor process

·        The ability to receive multiple doses of platelets in one procedure.

·        Reducing donation time without reducing product quality.

·        Rational use of the donor base and increasing the capacity of the blood center.

Convenience and safety

·        Intuitive control interface with real-time parameter display.

·        Automated control of circulating blood volume and anticoagulant dosage.

·        The use of disposable sterile circuits to enhance biological safety.

Who is it intended for

· Blood centers and blood transfusion stations

·        Transfusiology Services

·        Medical institutions with active donor apheresis programs

·        Organizations focused on high productivity and standardization of processes

Compliance with standards

·        Compliance with international requirements for the quality and safety of donor procedures

·        Support of standards of transfusion medicine and procurement of blood components
